Guesthouse “Malý Majer Podlesok” is located in a quiet location with a beautiful view of the Slovak Paradise and the High Tatras. The guesthouse was built after the model of the period farmsteads, which were typical for the Spiš region. Part of these rural settlements in the past served for housing and part for economic purposes – especially for animal breeding. At present, Guesthouse Malý Majer Podlesok offers accommodation with a capacity of 15 guests and 5 rooms or suites. Perfect location in the north of the Slovak Paradise and only 25 minutes drive to the High Tatras makes it an ideal accommodation for people seeking peace and nature.
Accommodation and services
Guests of the guesthouse can realax in the private wellness with dry sauna and whirlpool with a beautiful view of the High Tatras mountains. The wellness is only available for guests. A tasty and rich breakfast is included in the price. Private area includes a car park with a charging station for electric cars as well as a replica of a period shepherd’s hut, which is used for evening gatherings with barbecue. On request, we can also provide you with specialties such as sheep’s cheese, Žincica, and other gastronomic specialties from local farms. For our guests, we can arrange transport by minibuses to more distant places such as Dobšinská ice cave, UNESCO town Levoča or Spiš castle.
In winter we can arrange a ski bus to the ski centre Tatranská Lomnica, only 30 minutes away by car. In the northern part of the private complex there is a special airport Hrabušice – Podlesok, ICAO = LZ HR with a runway length of 370 m. The special airport is reserved for sport aircraft and tourist flights within the Schengen area.
